Boys Brigade Service of Thanksgiving

Marking the 134th year of its founding, a short service of Thanksgiving was held at St Giles’ Cathedral today (4th October) for The Boys’ Brigade.  Amongst those attending were BB members and leaders – past and present – including very special guests from 5th Livingston Junior Section, who laid flowers at the Sir William Smith plaque in the Cathedral. They were joined by young people from 65th Edinburgh, along with the Director for Scotland, John Sharp and Brigade Secretary, Bill Stevenson.

The service was conducted by the Very Rev Dr Russell Barr, former Moderator of the General Assembly of the Church of Scotland.
