Cramond Walks : February to June 2017

Around the Tweed       13.5 km/ 8.5 mls              Grade : Moderate
Starting from Newtown St Boswells, we cross the Tweed to Dryburgh Abbey, then climb to Wallace's statue. We then head north on a minor road to Scott's View, looking over a horseshoe bend in the Tweed towards the Eildon Hills. The route then turns west to Leaderfoot, where we cross the oldest and lowest of the three Tweed bridges. After a stretch along the verge of the A68 we head down to walk beside the Tweed and back to the start.
