STEWARDING AT THE GENERAL ASSEMBLY 2026 Stewards undertake a vital role at the General Assembly to ensure the safety and comfort of those attending. Stewards provide a friendly welcome to the Assembly Halls; ensure the security of proceedings by checking passes; are alert to security threats and disturbances and have a responsibility to ensure the safe evacuation of the Assembly Hall if required. Individual shifts last for 3 hours and volunteers can select the day or days they wish to help. The Assembly takes place from 15-18 May 2026. If you’d like to find out more or wish to volunteer, please contact Neil Proven at assemblystewards@churchofscotland.org.uk

OXFAM STAMP APPEAL Please keep collecting your used postage stamps because although the Church of Scotland stamp appeal is coming to an end, we are now collecting stamps for Oxfam. Donations can be left in the box on the table outside the Kirk Office.

FRESH START Many thanks for all the recent donations which are always welcome and can be left in the Fresh Start box in the Kirk Hall at any time or delivered to the Fresh Start warehouse at 22-24 Ferry Road Drive from Mon – Thurs, 9 am – 4 pm.
