A CHILDREN’S EASTER LUNCH CLUB is being held in Pennywell Kirk Hall on Saturday, 19 April from 10 am to 1 pm. With lots of games and Easter crafts as well as lunch, it promises to be a great way to spend a couple of hours. EDINBURGH NORTHWEST KIRK SESSION will be meeting in Cramond Kirk Hall at 7.15 pm on Monday, 28 April. All are welcome to attend and participate in the meeting although only members of the Kirk Session are permitted to vote on issues.
THE FAIR TRADE STALL will be up and running in Cramond Kirk Hall following the 10 am service on Sunday, 13 April so please come along and stock up on your Easter Fair Trade goodies.
PENNYWELL MONTHLY WORKSHOPS The second in a series of monthly workshops is being held in Pennywell Kirk Hall on Sunday, 13 April from 1 pm – 3 pm. The workshop will cover mental health, exploring how you are feeling generally, what makes you anxious and stressed and what you could try to do to cope better. THE CRAMOND SCOUTS PLANT SALE The Scouts would be glad to take your orders for plants again this year. Plants will be ready for collection at the Christian Aid Fair on Sunday, 11 May or can be delivered to your door if you live locally. VISIONS OF PASSION The pianist, Reinis Zarins will perform the UK premiere of Rihards Dubra’s “Visions of Passion – Light” on Friday, 18 April at 8 pm in St Cuthbert’s Church. Admission is a suggested donation of £14. Further details are available HERE.
BEHOLD THE MAN Cutting Edge Theatre is delighted to invite you to the 2025 edition of the Edinburgh Easter Play being held in West Princes Street Gardens on Saturday, 19 April at 2 pm. This year’s production is called ‘Behold the Man’ and was developed in partnership with the School of Divinity at Edinburgh University and Westhill Endowment. ‘Behold the Man’ is a traditional version of the play that explores Jesus’s figure in his time and in the present day. RESURRECTION 2025 Origin Scotland invite you to join them in the Usher Hall on Sunday, 20 April at 7.30 pm to celebrate the greatest event in history. Free tickets are available HERE.
JESUS CHRIST SUPERSTAR Two of our choir members are involved in a production of Jesus Christ Superstar at the Festival Theatre from 7 – 10 May. Fraser Hume is the Musical Director and Chris Cotter is playing one of the adversarial priests and understudying Jesus. THE CRAMOND ASSOCIATION HISTORY SECTION are meeting in Cramond Kirk Hall on Wednesday, 16 April at 7.30 pm with their guest speaker, Jackie Sangster and her talk on “Emporiums and Establishments of Edinburgh”. FRESH START Many thanks for all your donations. They are always welcome and can be left on the Fresh Start table in the Kirk Hall at any time or delivered to the Fresh Start warehouse at 22-24 Ferry Road Drive from Mon–Thurs, 9 am – 4 pm. Further information on Fresh Start is available HERE
CHURCH OF SCOTLAND STAMP APPEAL 2025/26 Many thanks to all those who continue to donate their used stamps to the Church of Scotland stamp appeal. The money raised is currently supporting the work of the Al Ahli Hospital in northern Gaza, the only Christian hospital in the Gaza Strip and the only cancer hospital in Gaza. The hospital continues to serve the population in whatever way they can and under extremely difficult conditions. Donations of used stamps are always welcome and can be left in the box in the Session House.
‘THE PLACE TO BE’ COFFEE MORNING is held in Pennywell Kirk Hall every Monday at 10 am. All are welcome.
CRAMOND COFFEE & CHAT is on every Monday from 10.30 am to 12 noon in the Gathering Space of Cramond Kirk Hall and all are welcome.
